This elementary level Bible course includes songs, games, and simple crafts focused around a weekly Bible lesson. Curriculum varies yearly for those who would like to take this class multiple times.

Students will have different monthly units that focus on the world’s greatest painters. The children will study different art techniques, so they will have a foundation to create great works of art by themselves. There will also be several outside the box activities like making jewelry, food as art, and slime time. This course will be interactive and fun. We will incorporate basic kindergarten and first grade writing and reading standards.

This course focuses on classic children's stories and includes take home lessons that the parent can tailor to each child's reading and writing level.

This course uses a variety of books written by popular authors that allow students to explore, discuss, and continue to develop a love of reading through author studies and exploration centers. This age will dive into chapter books as well.

This class is designed to provide a close-up look at famous composers, their music, and their times with special attention to character traits and Christian testimony. Students will learn basic sight reading through playing the recorder and keyboard. All musical abilities will enjoy this class.

This course presents basic structure and grammar of the Spanish language and encourages learning by using games and other activities to engage the student in the course. Students will converse, read, and write in Spanish.

Lessons will cover parts of speech, sentence structure, and rules of capitalization and punctuation. Basic elements of writing will be introduced as students learn to model original works using the imitation method.

Lessons will include place value, Roman numerals, addition & subtraction, multiplication & division, equations, geometry, time & measurement, ratios, proportions, percent’s, fractions, decimals, and integers.

Students will focus on three separate units. In the Earth Science unit students will observe, measure, and communicate weather data to see patterns in weather and climate. In the Physical Science unit students will investigate light and sound. In the Life Science unit students will investigate the characteristics and basic needs of plants and animals. We will incorporate basic kindergarten and first grade writing and reading standards. This will be an interactive, hands on approach to Science.

Topics covered in our science units will include rocks and minerals, matter and energy, weather, biomes, ecosystems, sound and light, respiratory and circulatory systems.

Students will have an introduction to United States history through the study of selected historical figures. In the history strand, students study the important contributions each historical person made. In the geography strand, students learn about where these historical people lived and explore important basic geographic concepts and including a study of maps. The civics strand provides a study of the positive character traits exhibited by these important historical figures. We will incorporate Wee Sing America Songs and have a fun wax museum character exhibit at the end of the year. We will incorporate basic kindergarten and first grade writing and reading standards.

We will study leaders from Christopher Columbus to Martin Luther King, Jr., to give your child a chronological understanding of great leaders in American history. With 22 biographical excerpts of Presidents, generals, preachers, pioneers, and more, your child can observe the character-building qualities of these leaders. Comprehension questions, timelines, terms and definitions, “Stop and Think” sections and maps of where these honorable people lived give your child facts to remember and traits like honesty, courage, and bravery to model in his life.

This course begins with the time period before Europeans came to what is now the U.S. and takes students on an exciting journey through the history of the people, places, and events that shaped U.S. history until the late 1800s.
